課程概述 |
Quantum Physics is the defining undergraduate course for advancement into modern physics. The Quantum Physics “mosaic” started to emerge a century ago by way of experiment, which stimulated theory development. The immense richness has transformed human society, to this day. This course will emphasize the empirical basis of Quantum Physics, as well as its vastness. |

課程目標 |
Formalism will be left for future courses, such as Quantum Mechanics. Our aim is to cover, in a year, all of Quantum Physics: from its origins in atoms and spectra, through molecules and condensed matter, to nuclear and particle physics. In this semester, we cover up to atomic physics with multiple electrons. |
